Ten Commandments for starting polar bears | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| De 10 geboden winterzwemmen voor aspirant ijsberen | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| AS A STARTING POLAR BEAR YOU SHOULD ... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1. | ... | swim as much as possible in the open air. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2. | ... | only swim after warming up (gym, jogging, volleyball, football). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3. | ... | keep your body-heat, wearing your tracksuit until you go into the water. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 4. | ... | NOT stay in the water for a long time, never get forced by someone else, simply swim your own distance. Short bathings are the best! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 5. | ... | go immediately to the changing room, do not dawdle nor keep talking. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
